Rose Boreal at Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille

The Helsinki School younger generation have an exhibition at Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, as a part of the Scandinavian and Finnish Masters in France, 1870-1914 exhibition. Participating artists are Joonas Ahlava, Niina Vatanen, Susanna Majuri, Mikko Sinervo, Pernilla Zetterman, Ea Vasko, Anni Leppälä, Jari Silomäki, Milja Laurila, Kalle Kataila and Noomi Ljungdell.

The Helsinki School - Rose Boréal - Photographies de l'école d'Helsinki

The exhibition The Helsinki School - La nouvelle photographie finlandaise at the Ecole des Beaux Arts presents photographers and video artists of the youngest generation of 'the Helsinki School'. The show is divided in four thematic sections: Nordic Landscape, Reflection of Personal Stories, Portrait and Structures. The display will show how The University of Art and Design Helsinki has successfully managed to create unique educational tool. It´s the first exhibition of its kind and alongside the show is also published an exhibition catalogue. The exposition is a cooperation of The University of Art and Design Helsinki and The Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts Paris. The participating artists are Joonas Ahlava, Niina Vatanen, Susanna Majuri, Mikko Sinervo, Pernilla Zetterman, Ea Vasko, Anni Leppälä, Jari Silomäki, Milja Laurila, Kalle Kataila, Noomi Ljungdell, Hannu Karjalainen, Pasi Autio, Santeri Tuori and Tuomo Rainio. Curated by Timothy Persons and Eric Feloneau.
