Digital Story of 'A Fresh Breeze from The North'

Kunsthalle St. Annen now presents you the Digital Story of the current Helsinki School exhibition A Fresh Breeze from The North. 

The exhibition sets out to trace these landscape images and nature experiences. All Helsinki School photo artists represented here engage to a substantial degree in the subject of nature or landscape: Elina Brotherus, Joakim Eskildsen, Ilkka Halso, Tiina Itkonen, Jaakko Kahilianiemi, Sanna Kannisto, Anni Leppälä, Susanna Majuri, Riitta Päiväläinen, Jorma Puranen, Mikko Rikala, and Santeri Tuori. An awareness of the links between nature and culture and an intuitive sense of space is apparent in all of these works.
