Archive Play is a joint effort between the artists Hertta Kiiski and Niina Vatanen and the curator Mirjami Schuppert. The book is a tentative and imaginative exploration into the photographic archive as generator of multiple meanings. The bodies of work by the artists were created as a response to the Helvi Ahonen collection, housed at the Finnish Museum of Photography. The book launch will take place at Photographic Gallery Hippolyte in Helsinki.
